Kyrgyzstan’s Central Election Commission declares official results of parliamentary elections

Chairman of the Central Election Commission Tuigunaly Abdraimov today announced the official results of the parliamentary elections, held on 4 October, 2015.

According to his data, six parties – SDPK, Respublika – Ata-Jurt, Kyrgyzstan, Onuguu-Progress, Bir Bol and Ata Meken will form the new Parliament.

According to official data, SDPK won 27.56% of votes and will receive 38 seats, Respublika – Ata Jurt – 20.26% (28 seats), Kyrgyzstan – 13.07% (18 seats), Onuguu-Progress – 9.39% (13 seats), Bir Bol – 8.59% (12 seats), Ata Meken – 7.8% (11 seats).

In total 1 million 630 thousand 122 people voted in elections, that makes 59% of citizens, who provided their biometric registration.
