Turkey’s EU accession process will be among a host of issues discussed during a visit by three high-ranking European officials to Ankara on Monday.
High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn and European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Christos Stylianides are visiting the Turkish capital.
The Turkey-EU dialogue will include Turkey’s EU Minister Volkan Bozkir and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
During the meeting, the sides will exchange views on Turkey-EU relations, in particular Turkey’s accession process, as well as current regional and international issues.
After the meeting, the parties will hold a news conference.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will later receive the EU officials at the presidential palace.
