The Harvest Festival, which is traditionally celebrated on the last Sunday of November, was held in Turkmenistan.
The Ashgabat Equestrian Center was the venue of celebrationю. It provided space for outdoor exhibitions of achievements of various branches of the agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan. The exhibitions featured samples of products of the cotton-growing, cotton-processing and grain-growing industries, animal husbandry, food and textile industries as well as specimens of modern agricultural equipment.
Sculptors, painters, jewelers exhibited their thematic works at the festival, while sportsmen held exhibition performances.
The festival participants and guests enjoyed the performances by pop singers, song and dance groups. They were also treated to national cuisine in the yurts.
The program of celebration also included a ceremony of awarding the best workers of the agricultural industry, who arrived in the capital city from all over the country. Valuable gifts were presented on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan to the best tenants, scientists, farmers, machine operators who made a great contribution to development of the agro-industrial complex of Turkmenistan.
The Harvest Festival at the Ashgabat Equestrian Center continued with Akhal-Teke horse racing. The winners were awarded festive prizes.
